The South Sangamon Water Commission welcomes new customers. Originally created to serve the Villages of Chatham and New Berlin, the Commission is also statutorily obligated to provide a tap for any property owner within 250 feet of its water main.
The Commission will also take applications to provide taps to property owners or entities currently not being served by another municipal water provider. The Commission reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
All interested parties should complete the attached application and survey and forward it to the Commission at PO Box 83 New Berlin, IL 62670-0083.
